Summer As It Should Be:


Nourish your child’s inherent connection to nature and enliven a sense of wonder! Whether skipping through the meadow, climbing trees, searching for frogs, or playing games with friends, children in our Summer Garden Camp are given a summer that helps them fully experience the world around them. The gentle rhythm of Waldorf education carries the children throughout their day, ensuring a balance of activities.

Join our experienced Early Childhood teachers and their enthusiastic staff for fun in the sun, joyful play and creating!

Summer Garden Camp for Ages 3-6:
**As of 4/30/21 all 10 weeks of Summer Garden Camp are full. Please reach out to Liz at [email protected] to be put on a waiting list**
3 years old to 6 years old (day-time potty trained). Prior Waldorf experience is not needed to attend Summer Garden Camp. Weeks are filled on a first come/first serve basis. Sign-up is on a week-by-week basis to ensure flexibility for your summer schedule.

Summer Forest Camp for Grades 1-4 Prior Waldorf experience is not needed to attend Summer Forest Camp. Weeks are filled on a first come/first serve basis. Sign-up is on a week-by-week basis to ensure flexibility for your summer schedule.

Week 1: Learning to Dig It, How to start seeds and caring for plants in the garden and in the home
Week 2: Go Green or Go Home, Making scoops, bird feeders, garden sprinklers and more projects than you can imagine from plastic bottles
Week 3: I’m Tied Up Right Now, Tie dye and how to create patterns on fabric, paper and canvas using various dyes and paints
Week 4: Rock My World, Collecting and painting unique rocks
Week 5: I Saw How You Did That, What you can do with a hand saw and simple woodworking tools.
Week 6: The Greatest Show on Earth, Studying the night sky and Zodiac signs
Week 7: Picture Perfect, Budding artists can improve their drawing and painting skills
Week 8: Birds of a Feather Flock Together, Making simple bird feeders out of everyday materials
Week 9: Water Baseball, And other water sports not usually associated with water
Week 10: Cooking Up a Storm, Basic cooking skills for indoor and outdoor cooking
 

Schedule: 

Half Days: (M, T, W, Th, F) 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Full Days: (M, T, W, Th, F) 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
