Learning Support Specialist


Amy Schroeder has taught for over 10 years in the public school and has specialized in working with children with special needs. Amy has a B.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh with emphasis on early childhood and learning disabilities; and a Masters in Education from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with emphasis on deaf and hard of hearing. She also has specialized training in autism, and sensory integration.


Amy believes that every child has a different learning style and every child can be successful when they are taught in a way that addresses their learning style. She is inspired by Waldorf education's emphasis on the whole child, and by addressing the physical, emotional and intellectual capacities present in each child helps them tap into their own inherent potential.
