| 2010 Winter/Spring Morning Glory Playgroup Morning Glory Playgroup is a parent-child class for children 18 months through 4 years. Each group meets one morning a week for 11 weeks and provides a time for child and parent to learn together in a nurturing setting, with natural toys that enhance a child’s imagination, initiative, and development of social skills. By participating in songs, poems, finger plays, story time, and other activities, parents will enter into the magic of learning in childhood. Healthy snacks will be prepared during each class. Parents will have an opportunity to learn simple craft projects and share ideas with each other. We will spend ample time in the meadow and woods, exploring the world around us. The program’s intentions are to present both parent education and children’s play. Winter/Spring Playgroup starts January 18, 2010 and runs for 11 weeks. Sessions are held Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Younger siblings are welcome to attend but the responsibility for their care remains with the parent. There is an additional fee for siblings over 12 months old.
