2008 Summer Morning Glory Playgroup
Morning Glory Playgroup is a parent-child class for children 18 months through 4 years. It is a time for child and parent to learn together in a nurturing setting, with natural toys that enhance a child’s imagination, initiative, and development of social skills. By participating in songs, poems, finger plays, story time, and other activities, parents will enter into the magic of learning in childhood. Healthy snacks will be prepared during each class. Parents will have an opportunity to learn simple craft projects and share ideas with each other. We will spend ample time in the meadow and woods, exploring the world around us. The program’s intentions are to present both parent education and children’s play.
Summer Playgroup will be divided into two, three-week sessions, meeting on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sign up for one or both sessions. Younger siblings are welcome if space allows. A minimum of 6 families is needed to run the program with a maximum of 12 children for each session.
