Prairie Hill Waldorf School is a nonprofit independent school that is sustained and enriched through the amazing generosity of teachers, parents, former parents, grandparents, alumni, their relatives and friends. 

Prairie Hill was founded in 1986 through love, hard work, ingenuity, faith and commitment. Our school offers children an education unique in its understanding of child development and its integration of the arts, music, language, movement, and science.

Tuition covers only 71% of the cost of educating each child. Your gift directly supports the education the children receive at Prairie Hill and helps to make Waldorf accessible to all children and families who value it regardless of income.

We ask for your financial assistance to support the school in fulfilling its mission: to awaken the capacity for dynamic thinking, creativity and compassion, inspiring children to contribute their unique gifts to the world.

Prairie Hill is a is a 501 3 C educational non-profit. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. You will receive a letter of thanks and acknowledgement for your tax records.

THE SCRIP STORE AT PRAIRIE HILL

Scrip is substitute money in the form of gift certificates that are used just like cash. Nearly 500 national and local retailers participate in Scrip and donate a percentage of the total amount of your purchase to the non-profit organization of your choice.

WIN – WIN

With Scrip, you are not spending any extra money. You are just paying for things you were already going to buy in a way that directs funds from the retailer back to Prairie Hill.

Just a few of the retailers that participate in the Scrip program are: Good Harvest, Sentry, Kwik Trip, Sentry, Kohls, REI, Land’s End, Amazon and Starbucks.

HOW TO PARTICPATE AT SCHOOL

Every Wednesday morning you can order Scrip and pick up orders from the previous week. Forms and payment can also be left in the Scrip mailbox anytime and they will be processed each Wednesday.

ONLINE

Families are encouraged to try the computer order placement system that is now up and running for our school. 

To order Scrip online:

• Go to shopwithscrip.com and register yourself using our school code: A4EABA6A648
• Place your order online by 11 a.m.
• Put your check in the Scrip mailbox or give to Scrip Rep Wednesday morning
• Pick up your order the following Wednesday
