| The rhythms of the natural world, human response to them and the
expression of our common goals find their way into Prairie Hill’s
celebrations of Michaelmas, Festival of Lights and May Faire. These
three festivals are all-school celebrations with activities for
every age and ability. The mood of Michaelmas in the fall is one
of outward vigor, courage and heroic deeds, while the Festival of
lights is held indoors, with quiet reverence, darkness and candlelight
with quiet musical accompaniment. May Faire celebrates the delight
of springtime abundance and playfulness. |
