Celebrating its 26th year, Prairie Hill Waldorf School has an enrollment of more than 130 children, preschool through Grade 8 as well as parent-infant and parent-child playgroups.
The school is located just 30 miles west of Milwaukee and 45 miles east of the university town of Madison in the beautiful lake district of Delafield.
The school is part of a strong anthroposophical community that supports several biodynamic farms and the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, two Lifeways Centers, one Lifeways Training Center, the Great Lakes Waldorf Teacher training program, anthroposophical medicine and pharmacy, the Rafael Music Foundation, the Emmaus branch of the Anthroposophical Society, regular chapel services of the Christian Community, and more.
We offer a salary and benefit package that includes tuition remission, health insurance, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and optional dental insurance. We also have additional funding earmarked for teacher professional development and mentoring.
We are a fully accredited member school of the Association Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA), the State of Wisconsin, and the North Central Association (NCA) Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.
