JACOB BERES

"Usually on the first day of school, a person is nervous, but at Prairie Hill, I felt comfortable and I know I could just be myself. During [the eight years], there were also changes going on around our class...teachers coming and going, classmates coming and going...sometimes my parents wondered if this school was truly the right place for me anymore and sometimes I wondered it too. The important thing now is that I am truly thankful for staying through the very end, because..the Waldorf curriculum is what makes the difference. In the end it does not matter who was your teacher or who left and who stayed, but what you learned. I learned that friends should accept you for who you are; that art and music are important and my love for them will always remain; and that a true love for learning is as much a part of a person as their heart and soul.
