Glen Lehnigk – Custodian

Glen Lehnigk Glen is a familiar face at Prairie Hill, endlessly going up and down the halls with his mop and always eager to come back the next day. He can be seen riding a bicycle to work rain, shine or snow. Although Glen began his work at Prairie Hill in the fall of 1992, his roots to the school go much deeper. As a child Glen accompanied his mom as she cleaned and cared for the then Zion School building. Shortly after Prairie Hill’s move to the Zion site, Glen’s mother called and asked if he could help us out.

Glen was very shy at first and would open up to just a few people. Over the years this would change significantly. Glen attends every school event – festivals, class plays, and graduations. Glen continues to fill the life of our school with loving service, a watchful eye and wonder for the space we call our school.
