Carmen Fernandez – Spanish
"Give every child a small peek of the world, so they want to explore the rest on their own. Waldorf education introduces world languages from Grade 1. The early start gives children the chance to explore the language in a playful setting, therefore promoting longevity for the child’s interest in that language"
Carmen has been teaching Spanish for over five years at Prairie Hill and brings her delightful native tongue all the way from Spain. She also teaches for Achievement Associates in Mequon and is an academic tutor for Science, Math, Spanish, and helps students prepare for their ACT. Previously Carmen worked as a chemist and project manager.
Carmen has a B.S. in Chemistry with a Spanish Certificate from the Michigan Technological University.
